Members' Council and Working Groups

Our Members' Council comprises 16 individuals, based on the nominations received from member firms. Individual Council members are elected for a three-year term and the Chairperson is selected from amongst the members of Council and serves for a one-year term. Council sets the strategy and direction of the Association and engages with members on key funds and asset management topics, initiatives and a wide range of areas. View more information about our Council Members and Working Group Structure.

The work of Council is supported by a network of 36 Working Groups whose activities are prioritised and coordinated by seven steering groups. Ireland’s Women in Finance Charter

We are delighted to announce the upcoming launch of Ireland’s Women in Finance Charter and are inviting member firms to sign up now to the Charter, ahead of the upcoming launch.

A public launch with Government and industry is planned for the end of April. Firms that sign up to the Charter will be invited to attend the public launch, with the Tánaiste and Minister Fleming. This is a very important initiative for the industry, supported by Government, targeted at addressing the issue of gender imbalance in financial services firms. It needs strong CEO leadership to drive it and we ask your support in becoming one of the early signatories to the Charter prior to the public launch date.

Primary contacts from Irish Funds member firms can sign their firm up to the Charter, sending it to WomenInFinance@irishfunds.ie.
