TY Financial Literacy Programme Returns for 2026
Thursday, 15 January 2026
The Irish Funds TY Financial Literacy Programme is back for 2026! Over the past two weeks, the programme has reached eight schools, and this year it is set to expand to 17 additional schools, building on the success of the 13 schools that participated last term.
A huge thank you to our sponsor Deloitte for their continued support in sponsoring the programme.
Our volunteers recently returned to Kinsale Community School, Cork, where they completed their final session, and to Coláiste Éinde, Galway, for their second session.
New schools that began the programme over the past fortnight include:
Loreto Letterkenny, Donegal
Hansfield Educate Together, Dublin
Drimnagh Castle, Dublin
CUS Leeson Street, Dublin
Loreto Clonmel, Tipperary
Ghaelcholáiste Mhuire, Cork
Students explored a wide range of topics, including financial literacy, digital finance, sustainable investing, and practical life skills. Discussions highlighted saving habits, many students use digital tools such as Revolut Pockets, as well as the importance of understanding risk in stock investing. The students also had the opportunity to set up their FT Schools portfolios to see these concepts in action.
The Irish Funds thanks all the industry professionals who contribute their time and expertise to inspire the next generation.
