Pat Lardner to Step Down as Chief Executive of Irish Funds at End of 2026

After more than 14 years leading Irish Funds, Chief Executive Pat Lardner has announced that he will step down from his role at the end of 2026.

During his tenure, Pat has played a key role in the growth and development of Irish Funds, helping to strengthen the Association’s position and enhance the profile and influence of Ireland’s funds and asset management industry both domestically and internationally.

Pat will continue in his role until the end of the year, supporting a smooth transition as the Board of Irish Funds begins the process of appointing his successor.

Irish Funds thanks Pat for his leadership, dedication and significant contribution to the Association and the wider industry over the past 14 years.

Irish Funds looks forward to continuing to work with Pat throughout the remainder of his term and building on the strong foundations established during his leadership.
