Irish Funds TY Financial Literacy Programme Returns for the 2025/2026 School Year
Friday, 03 October 2025
The Irish Funds Transition Year Financial Literacy Programme has officially returned for the 2025/2026 school year, kicking off this week at Cashel Community School!
We’re delighted to build on last year’s success, where the programme reached more than 750 students across 23 schools in 14 counties. A huge thank you to Deloitte for continuing their support as sponsor for the third consecutive year.
This week’s session was delivered by Jane Grogan together with Aisling Fitzell from Waystone. They introduced 24 students to important financial topics including savings, budgeting, investments, and future planning. In discussion, students even applied what they learned to their upcoming TY trip — many said they’ll save through Revolut pockets and calculated that putting aside €16–17 each week could build up to €500 for the trip.
Waystone also shared valuable perspectives on the investment funds and asset management sectors in Ireland, connecting classroom learning to real-world finance.
We’re excited to see how this knowledge empowers the next generation of financial leaders as the programme continues throughout the year!
