Irish Funds’ response to the Department of Finance’s consultation Ireland for Finance Strategy 2026–2030 sets out a clear roadmap to secure Ireland’s place as a global leader in financial innovation.

Funds Review 2030 Findings - Swift and transparent implementation of the Funds Review 2030 recommendations
Operating Environment - Enhance regulatory, legislative and taxation agility through targeted reforms to simplify processes and reduce the cost of doing business across the sector
Accountable Delivery - Drive reforms with accountability by establishing a dedicated, well-resourced multi-departmental taskforce with clear ownership and timelines
Private Assets Regime - Unlock the Private Asset Opportunity to attract capital into infrastructure, SMEs, housing, and renewables.
Retail Investor participation - Enhance participation both internationally and domestically by supporting financial literacy measures and investor level tax changes identified in the Funds Review 2030
Skills and Talent - : Invest in upskilling initiatives aligned with the Financial Services Skills Framework and promote diversity through initiatives like the Women in Finance Charter
Advance Digital Finance & Fintech Integration: Leverage Ireland’s global tech ecosystem to foster innovation in digital asset management, AI-driven compliance, DLT or blockchain-based fund administration, tokenisation and digital fund distribution.
