Irish Funds Launches Inaugural Future Leaders Event to Foster Talent and Connection in Asset Management

This Thursday, 26 June, Irish Funds will host the inaugural Future Leaders event - part of our ongoing commitment to support talent development and build a strong, connected community across the Irish funds and asset management industry.

The event, held in collaboration with KPMG Ireland, will focus on a critical skill in today’s dynamic professional landscape: building meaningful and authentic relationships. With expert guidance from The Communications Clinic, attendees will explore how to make networking more natural, impactful, and aligned with personal and professional growth.

The session will feature insights from prominent industry leaders:

  • Nicholas Blake-Knox, Head of the Asset Management and Investment Funds Practice at Walkers and current Chair of the Irish Funds Members Council. With over two decades of experience, Nick is a connector of people and policy across the Irish funds and asset management landscape.

  • Maria Flannery, Partner at KPMG’s financial services group, a trusted leader in audit, regulation, and innovation. Maria champions collaboration across the Irish asset management industry, especially in emerging areas like blockchain and digital assets.

  • Lorcan Nyhan, Head of Training at The Communications Clinic, is known for helping professionals communicate with clarity and confidence, turning everyday conversations into career-defining opportunities.

Whether you're growing your career or expanding your network, this is a space to connect, learn, and lead.

Attendance is by invitation, and members of Irish Funds are encouraged to reach out for more information via engagementleaders@irishfunds.ie.
