Irish Funds Attends International Bar Association’s 24th Annual Conference on Private Investment Funds

Irish Funds attended the International Bar Association’s (IBA) 24th Annual Conference on Private Investment Funds in London, a flagship event that brings together global leaders from across the private markets ecosystem to discuss the latest industry developments, regulatory trends and emerging investment opportunities.

During the conference, Irish Funds CEO Pat Lardner participated in a panel discussion on global regulatory trends and priorities. The session explored evolving regulatory developments across jurisdictions and the implications for the continued growth of private markets globally.

Speaking during the panel, Pat Lardner shared perspectives on Ireland’s role in supporting the growth of private capital and highlighted the country’s established position as a leading global funds domicile.

As private markets continue to expand and evolve, the conference provided an important platform to highlight Ireland’s role in this ecosystem. With more than 30 years at the forefront of the global funds industry, Ireland has developed a trusted and stable platform for investment funds. Today, Irish-domiciled funds hold €6.5 trillion in net assets and represent over 20% of all European fund assets.

This strong foundation — supported by more than 20,000 professionals across Ireland’s funds ecosystem — is also enabling the continued development of private assets, including private equity, private credit and real assets.
