IFS Skillnet Upcoming Courses in Power BI, SEAR and Transfer Pricing

IFS Skillnet is taking registrations for their three upcoming courses:

  1. Unlocking Data Magic - Introduction to Power BI

  2. Masterclass on the Senior Executive Accountability Regime (SEAR)  

  3. Transfer Pricing in a Globalised World

1. Unlocking Data Magic - Introduction to Power BI (14 and 15 May, online, 9:30am-1pm)

This programme is delivered online over two consecutive half days. This programme is aimed at participants who are looking to upskill their knowledge on how Power BI works. The following topics will be covered:

  • Data Connectivity

  • Data Transformation and Modelling

  • Data Visualization

  • Dashboard and Report Creation

  • Power BI Service

Network member fee: €250. Non- member fee: €400. Membership of the Network is free of charge. This programme is accredited for CPD.

2. Masterclass on the Senior Executive Accountability Regime (SEAR)  (Wednesday, 22 May, 9:30am-12:30pm, in-person in Ibec)

IFS Skillnet is offering a half day workshop on SEAR. The workshop will include the following topics:

  • Where SEAR fits within the Framework

  • The 3 C’s of Conduct Risk

  • Responsibilities for (I)NEDs

  • Mapping out SEAR within a Financial Institution

  • Contraventions and Enforcement

The workshop is interactive and will also include time working on case studies and discussion. Network member fee: €120. Non- member fee: €420. Membership of the Network is free of charge.The workshop has been approved for CPD hours by the IOB and LIA.

3. Transfer Pricing in a Globalised World (4 days in-person in Trinity College Dublin)

IFS Skillnet are delighted to collaborate with TCD Executive Education on this unique programme. It brings together a panel of world leaders, including both academic and practitioner experts, in transfer pricing, many of whom have contributed to the development of both the OECD and the UN guidelines on the topic. It is designed to empower participants to lead strategy and decision making in relation to Transfer Pricing, and will cover in detail the most significant and up-to-date issues in the area, using local and international case studies to exemplify problems and outcomes. 

Dates: 14, 15 May, 10,11 June

Duration: 9am-5pm each day

Target audience: CFOs, Taxation and Finance executives, other senior executives who need to be aware of transfer pricing issues when making strategic and operational decisions
