Become a Sponsor: Irish Funds 2025/2026 TY Financial Literacy Programme

There’s a real opportunity to strengthen the financial skills Irish people need for borrowing, saving, and planning ahead. Through sponsorship and volunteering, our members are invited to join the national movement to build financial resilience from the classroom up.

An estimated 43% of Irish adults lack the financial literacy to support their long-term financial wellbeing. We’re changing that — starting in the classroom.

The Irish Funds Transition Year Financial Literacy Programme equips students with essential skills — from budgeting and digital finance to sustainable investing — all through the lens of the funds and asset management industry.

Aligned with the new National Financial Literacy Strategy (2025–2029), Irish Funds is proud to be part of the solution to empower the next generation.

In 2024/25, we reached 750 students across 23 schools, thanks to generous sponsorship from Deloitte and our network of industry volunteers. For 2025/26, we’re inviting member firms to come on board as sponsors and help us grow our impact even further.

Why sponsor?

  • National visibility across schools, media & policy engagement

  • Meaningful employee engagement

  • Enhanced corporate reputation for social responsibility

  • International media exposure

  • Recognition in Irish Funds communications

Irish Funds member firm primary contacts — have been sent the sponsorship pack to register interest by Friday, 22 August 2025.

Financial literacy changes lives — it’s a source of security, control, and confidence that empowers people to make informed choices about their money and future.
