Alexander is a Director of Product Management at SIX Financial Information, where he is responsible for risk and regulation. He is currently focusing on projects related to MiFID II.
Over the last 20 years, he has worked in London, Zurich and Vienna in roles specializing in technology solutions for risk management. Previously, he was a member of the Chartis Research Advisory Board where he researched how risk management software can be future-proofed to adapt to changing regulatory standards. His research projects in this role included Financial Crime, Liquidity Risk and Dodd-Frank / Basel III.
Yvonne is a Principal with Carne Global Financial Services Limited and CEO of Carne’s Irish business. Carne employs 180 people across 9 global locations and is a governance and substance provider for asset managers with $700 billion in Assets Under Management. Yvonne is currently Chair of Irish Funds Council, the official representative body for the Irish investment fund industry. She also acts as a Chairman and Director to traditional funds, hedge funds and management companies domiciled in Ireland and Cayman. Yvonne has over 25 years’ experience within the funds industry and is a specialist in governance, product development, compliance, financial reporting and operations. She also has experience in assisting fund managers and service providers with various aspects of operational development, control and risk management. She is a recognised expert in back office operations and change management and regularly speaks at fund industry conferences. Prior to joining Carne, Yvonne was Head of Operational Development at State Street (International) Ireland (formerly Deutsche Bank), where she looked after new business take on, product development, system implementation and change management. As a member of the senior management team at State Street, Yvonne reported directly to the CEO and was a key contributor to the overall strategy and direction of the business. Yvonne trained as a chartered accountant with KPMG, specialising in corporate taxation. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants. Yvonne is a member of multiple industry associations including Irish Funds, the Institute of Directors in Ireland, 100 Women in Finance and the 30% Club.
H.E Breifne O'Reilly was born in Dublin, Ireland. H.E Mr O'Reilly has a M.A in Modern Languages and Literature (German and French) from Trinity College Dublin. In 1998 he was Head of Private Office Private Secretary to Ministers David Andrews TD and Brian Cowen TD. H.E Mr O' Reilly was also a Director from 2005- 2008 in the following areas HQ (Russia, OSCE and Western Balkans), Director HQ (Head of Human Resources) Director HQ (EU Division, Institutions and Coordination). In August 2009-2013 he was Ambassador of Ireland to Israel. H.E Breifne O'Reilly is now the Ambassador of Ireland to Switzerland, Algeria and Liechtenstein.
Mark Browne focuses his practice on fund advisory work, including the structuring, establishment and operation of UCITS and AIFMD compliant investment funds in Ireland. He has more than ten years of experience in the funds industry and has worked in a number of the key global centres including the Cayman Islands, Luxembourg and Dublin. This international experience is of particular assistance when advising international managers familiar with offshore structures.
Recent representations by Mr. Browne include advising a range of asset managers and service providers on the impact of the AIFMD and the establishment of new qualifying investor alternative investment funds (“QIAIFs”), as well as UCITS, and their registration for pan European distribution. Mr. Browne is a frequent author and speaker and is recommended as a leading investment funds lawyer by The Legal 500 and Chambers Europe. He is a representative of the Irish Funds Industry Association’s distributions and marketing industry working groups.
Conor is a partner in the Financial Services Team specialising in the field of investment funds and asset management. He regularly advises leading international asset managers on carrying on business in Ireland and in particular on the establishment, structuring and operation of all types of collective investment schemes.
Conor has significant experience in advising investors, promoters, fund managers and investment banks on the ongoing operation of traditional and alternative investment funds including UCITS, hedge funds, funds of funds and private equity funds.
Iain has significant expertise in structuring, establishing and advising on a wide range of UCITS/AIFs including structured products, hedge funds, ETFs, loan/credit funds, real estate funds, private equity funds and infrastructure funds. Iain has also practiced in a leading international asset management and investment banking business. He Chairs the Irish Funds’ Front Office Steering Group and is a member of the Irish Funds’ ETF Working Group and Real Estate Working Group. He advises major global fund promoters and asset managers, investment banks, wealth managers, family offices, custodians and international prime brokers in connection with their Irish authorised fund activities.
Stephen Roberts is a Director within Davy Investment Fund Services (DIFS), the 3rd party management company of the Davy Group (Davy). Stephen is responsible for business development for management company and AIFM services to 3rd party managers looking to establish investment vehicles domiciled in either Ireland or Luxembourg. Davy was founded in 1926 and is Ireland's leading provider of wealth management, asset management, capital markets and financial advisory services, employing over 700 people. DIFS specialises in providing the governance, substance and oversight required in Ireland or Luxembourg for public and private funds in both liquid and illiquid asset classes, covering private equity, real estate, infrastructure and credit, as well as financial assets.
Stephen started within the Investment Fund industry in 1989 and during his 30 year career he has held a number of client facing management positions within the management company sector in both Ireland and Luxembourg.
Ilona is PwC Ireland’s Real Estate Tax Leader and a Partner in Ireland’s Asset & Wealth Management tax practice.
Ilona specialises in international tax structuring, assisting investment banks and asset managers structure and manage global asset management businesses. Ilona has considerable experience advising on a wide range of cross border tax matters relevant to structuring mutual funds, hedge funds and private equity funds.
Ilona is a chartered tax advisor and sits on the audit committee of the Irish Department of Finance.
Neil has a wide international experience in the banking industry, securities and derivatives markets. He worked for Merrill Lynch in Zurich and Geneva before joining Bear Stearns, then Banque Gutzwiller, Kurz, Bungener SA in Geneva, progressed through brokerage, trading and investment banking. Thereafter, he was responsible for the Treasury and Financial Market department of Banque Cantonale de Genève.
He entered the fund industry in 1992 as a member of the investment committee of Swisscanto Funds. In 2001, he formed Carnegie & Cie S.A., a consulting firm that was mandated to establish the London-based Swisscanto Funds Centre, a third-party funds platform for the Swiss Cantonal banks. Neil is a graduate of the Swiss Finance Institute of the University of Zurich. He is fluent in English, French and German.
Andrea is a Director with FundRock Management Company S.A. with over 18 years' experience in the financial services sector. Andrea has held roles ranging from senior operational and client services roles within global and capital markets institutions; to roles in relationship and business development within large European and US fund services providers. Andrea possesses deep domain knowledge of UCITS structures (including Ireland, the UK and Luxembourg), alternative investment vehicles such as QIAIFs, SIFs, Part II Funds; as well as Cayman domiciled products, Irish SPVs and structured funds.
Andrea supports FundRock’s blue chip client base through oversight and management of large complex operating models and has responsibility to protect and generate revenue through building and retaining relationships and marketing the full array of services to complex mutual fund managers.
Werner von Baum (German) is a Managing Partner at LGT Capital Partners. He is responsible for Risk Management and Compliance.
Prior to joining LGT Capital Partners in 2005, Mr. von Baum worked for HypoVereinsbank in Munich where he built and led the Corporate Origination and High Yield Capital Market business, and became Managing Director in 2002. Prior to joining HVB, Mr. von Baum worked with Bankers Trust, London since 1991, where he held various positions in the marketing, structuring and trading of fixed income, FX and equity derivatives. Mr. von Baum started his career in 1989 at Salomon Brothers in New York and Frankfurt as an equity derivatives trader.
Mr. von Baum holds a degree in economics and a diploma from European Business School (Frankfurt, London, Paris). He is a registered FSA in the UK and has obtained Series 3, 7 & 63 licenses in the US. Mr. von Baum is fluent in English, German, Spanish and French.
Dr. Miro Zuzak, CFA, obtained his doctorate in finance from University of St. Gallen (Dr. oec. HSG),
after his studies in Banking and Finance (lic. oec. HSG) and Law (M.A. in Law HSG).
Before joining JMS Invest AG as a Partner in 2014 he worked five years at Bellevue Asset Management, where he acted as lead portfolio manager of a long-only UCITS fund focusing on European Small- and Mid-Caps. Previously, he was Buy-Side investment analyst at RBR Capital, a long/short equity fund, focusing on the German speaking area. During his studies, he worked with a management consulting firm (Arthur D. Little), a law firm (Baer & Karrer) and as Executive Director Major BWL at University of St. Gallen, where he still teaches as lecturer for Financial Accounting and Controlling today.
Dr. Ulf Klebeck is working as General Counsel at Montana Capital Partners AG (mcp). He is in charge of all legal, regulatory and compliance aspects of mcp’s private equity business, including fund structuring & regulatory governance of mcp's private equity investment platform. Ulf joined Montana Capital Partners from an international multi-family office/asset manager with its headquarter in Zug, Switzerland. He was in charge of all legal, regulatory and compliance aspects of its asset & wealth management as well as family office services - including fund structuring & governance (AIF & UCITS in Luxembourg, Malta, Jersey, Guernsey, CH, Cayman Islands), the family office’s investments mandates and its M&A division.
He served as a board member on various funds (AIF & UCITS). Prior Ulf worked for Vontobel Asset Management - where he was in charge of – inter alia – dealing with all regulatory and governance issues of Vontobel’s fund structures (CH, Lux and Cayman Islands). He was leading the AIFMD implementation project at Vontobel and co-heading the FATCA project for the asset management division of Vontobel. Before Vontobel, Ulf worked as Legal Counsel for Capital Dynamics.
He started his career as an attorney-at-law in the Munich office of Clifford Chance with a focus on private equity transactions. While working on his doctoral thesis, he held the position of an assistant professor both at the University of Mannheim and Ludwig-Maximilians-University of Munich. Ulf frequently acts as an editor & author of various law books, journals and articles as well as a speaker on financial market regulatory topics, including funds regulations, investment law and corporate law as well as digital financial services. He is an associate lecturer at the University of Liechtenstein and was a research visiting fellow at UNSW, Sydney/Australia

Frank Murray has over forty years international business management experience working in the U.S. Switzerland, Ireland and the UK in the advanced technology sector. Frank is Chairman of SIBA the Swiss-Irish Business Association founded in 1988 and SIBA support the Irish Fund Managers engagement with Switzerland.
Frank is Chairman of Piercom Limited the Irish advanced technology provider to the Aviation Leasing Sector and Piercom were awarded the Washington based Smithsonian Medal in Innovation and the Cap Gemini European Web services award in e-Government services and payment portals. In 2014 Frank founded The Linkage-Partnership an international consultancy practice based in Switzerland, Holland and Ireland.
Frank managed the European Software division ($1Bn) for HP(DEC) from Geneva from 1989-94 and in 1998 led the successful trade sale of Fribourg based Powercom (Briggs & Stratton) software division. Frank completed a Bachelor of Science degree from the National University of Ireland (UCG) and attended IMD Lausanne, INSEAD Paris and IFL Stockholm completing the International Advanced Management Program from 1986-1991. He is a founding member of the Irish Software Engineering Research Centre and the Atlantic Way movement.
Kieran Fox joined the Association in August 2007 and is the Director - Business Development for Irish Funds. As well as being responsible for working with investment managers and developing our membership offering, Kieran participates in a number of our steering groups including Distribution, Marketing & Promotion and Front Office and has led engagement on specific regulatory matters. Kieran has a BSc Finance and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Information Systems. Prior to joining us he gained significant experience both in industry and within the regulator. He was a senior regulator and risk specialist with the Central Bank of Ireland for almost two years and prior to this spent seven years in a variety of roles across the front office within the hedge fund industry in London. Kieran represents the Association on the Summit Finuas Network Steering Committee.
