One of the biggest uncertainties facing Investment Management Firms currently is the impact of Brexit. Events over the last number of weeks and months, the publication of the draft Withdrawal Agreement and the on-going political debate have highlighted that the impact of Brexit continues to remain unclear and that firms should and must continue to plan for a hard Brexit scenario until final details are clear.

Clients continue to plan for a range of scenarios and this has a consequential impact on Business as Usual, Regulatory Permissions, Operations, and Booking Models etc. Many firms who have chosen to locate in Ireland in order to continue to access the EEA market are working through implementation plans for establishing in a new jurisdiction with an array of operational, regulatory, governance and resourcing implications to be managed within tight time periods.
