Money Market Fund Regulation Seminar

2014 was a very active year for EU level discussions on money market fund (MMF) regulation and the debate continues into 2015. The European Parliament is undertaking an impact assessment as it continues to debate amendments on money market fund reform. The Italian Presidency of the Council of Ministers issued several compromise texts but ultimately could not reach agreement during its term, which ended on 31 December 2014. IFIA has been actively involved with developments relating to the money market fund file and continues to engage with key stakeholders during this critical phase of the debate.

In order to update our members on developments relating to EU money market fund reform and to consider the issues and potential solutions, IFIA invites you to attend a Seminar on EU Money Market Fund Regulation.

Irish MEP Brian Hayes, who is ‘Shadow Rapporteur’ on the MMF Regulation in the ECON Committee of the European Parliament, will address the Seminar to provide insights on the latest developments in the European Parliament and will be joined by specialist speakers from the investor side, asset management, legal and operations.
