Tara Doyle is a partner in the Asset Management and Investment Funds Group at Matheson. She practices financial services law and advises many of the world’s leading financial institutions, investment banks, asset management companies, broker-dealers and corporations carrying on business in Ireland or through Irish vehicles. Tara has extensive experience in advising a wide range of domestic and international clients on the structuring, establishment, marketing and sale of financing and investment vehicles and products in Ireland and other jurisdictions. In particular she specialises in advising on the legal and regulatory issues surrounding the establishment of private and public investment funds, the structuring, offer and sale of investment instruments and investment products, the provision of investment advice and other financial services and the public issuance of equity and debt securities.
Tara is a current member of the Council of the Irish Funds Industry Association Limited (Irish Funds). She has spoken at a number of international financial services conferences, including Irish Funds' seminars in Milan, Frankfurt, New York, Boston, Hong Kong, Tokyo and Singapore and has contributed articles to financial services and investment industry journals. Tara is a member of both the Irish Funds' Money Market Fund Taskforce and Marketing Committee.
Tatjana manages the Muzinich Enhanced yield Short-Term strategy and the Muzinich Sustainable Credit strategy. She is a founding member of the European Leveraged Finance Association, a member of the ECB’s Bond Market Contact Group, a regular participant at the UBS Investor Forum and a frequent speaker at investment conferences. In 2019, Tatjana was appointed as an advisor to the Dalai Lama Centre for Compassion. Tatjana is a leading advocate for incorporating environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices into credit portfolios and her strategies have won numerous industry awards – including ESG-specific awards. In 2018, Tatjana won Fund Manager of the Year (small to medium firms) at Investment Week’s Women in Investment Awards and in 2019 she was one of the best 30 female fund managers globally as ranked by Citywire. Tatjana joined Muzinich in 2007 from Metlife Investments, where she served as an Associate Director of the Higher Return Unit. Prior to that she worked as a Senior Portfolio Manager in European High Yield for Fortis Investments and as a portfolio manager and credit analyst at Legal & General Investment Management. She has a Ph.D. from the London School of Economics, a Masters from the Kiel Institute of World Economics in Germany and an M.Sc/B.S. in Economics from the University of Vienna.
Alessia Falsarone, SASB FSA, is a Managing Director with PineBridge Investments in New York, a private, global asset manager focused on active, high-conviction investing. She is responsible for the alignment of portfolio strategy and investment risk processes with focus on the developed markets’ credit platform. Ms. Falsarone served in the office of the CEO of PineBridge’s predecessor entity, AIG Investments. Prior to AIG, she was part of the Global Investments team at Citigroup as Vice President responsible for strategic co-investments and international client advisory as well as an investment banker with Credit Suisse.
Ms. Falsarone is an NACD Governance fellow, a start-up mentor in the Stanford IGNITE accelerator program, and an active contributor to the Financial Management Association. She serves as a Member of the Board of 1787fp, a digital platform focused on consumer finance (TechCrunch Disruptor 2017) and as a Trustee of the International Education and Resource Network (iEarn-USA). A researcher of behavioral sciences, she is contributing author to “Applying Neuroscience to Business Practice” (October 2016).
Ms. Falsarone holds an MSc in Financial Mathematics from Stanford University, an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Business and a BS in Financial Economics from Bocconi University, Milan, Italy.
Adrian Whelan is a Senior Vice President of Regulatory Intelligence at Brown Brothers Harriman. He is based in Dublin.
Before joining Regulatory Intelligence, Adrian was the Head of Depositary for BBH Trustee Services (Ireland) Limited. Adrian joined BBH in 2011, prior to which he ran a regulatory consultancy firm. Adrian is an active participant in industry groups, including Irish Funds and ICI Global. He frequently appears at conferences discussing the impact of regulation on the asset management industry.
Adrian graduated from Dublin City University Business School with a degree in Business Studies.
