Ailbhe is a director in EY’s wealth and asset management practice in Dublin and has been with the firm for 13 years. Ailbhe completed her training contract in Dublin and following this spent a number of years working in EY’s offices in the Cayman Islands. Ailbhe has experience of investment funds across a variety of investment strategies and international jurisdictions, and she has considerable knowledge of investment funds reporting under IFRS and US GAAP. She has led and worked on many of Europe’s largest asset management complexes, including regulated, debt, hedge, private equity and fund of fund structures. Ailbhe recently completed a secondment to EY’s regulatory team where she assisted teams and clients to navigate regulatory compliance with a variety of regulatory bodies (IAASA, SEC, CIMA).
Kieran Fox joined the Association in August 2007 and is the Director - Business Development for Irish Funds. As well as being responsible for working with investment managers and developing our membership offering, Kieran participates in a number of our steering groups including Distribution, Marketing & Promotion and Front Office and has led engagement on specific regulatory matters. Kieran has a BSc Finance and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Information Systems. Prior to joining us he gained significant experience both in industry and within the regulator. He was a senior regulator and risk specialist with the Central Bank of Ireland for almost two years and prior to this spent seven years in a variety of roles across the front office within the hedge fund industry in London. Kieran represents the Association on the Summit Finuas Network Steering Committee.
Lars Tell, born 1960, is COO of Sector Asset Management Group and Managing Director of Sector Fund Services AS where he is responsible for Financial Control, Compliance, Risk/fund controlling, Fund compliance and Fund administration. He has worked in capital markets and auditing since 1987. He joined Sector Asset Management Group in 2005 from a position in Nordea Private Banking. In 1987 Mr. Tell joined Deloitte Noraudit AS in Oslo as an auditor. In 1992 Mr. Tell joined Elcon Finans AS as controller and in 1993 he moved to Gjensidige Insurance company as Head of back-office for their Asset Management division. In 1996 Mr. Tell moved to Gjensidige Bank AS as Head of Operation for their FX and Capital Markets division. In 1999, Mr. Tell got a position as Head of Business support in Nordea Markets (previously Christiania Markets), and in 2002 became Managing director and Head of Business Support of Nordea Securities NUF in Norway. Mr. Tell is also a Board Director for several Irish Fund structures. Mr. Tell holds a BSc in Business Administration and Economics from University of Karlstad, Sweden.

Björn Wendleby is a partner at Harvest, specialising in exchange and securities law, banking and finance legislation and fund operations. Björn has significant regulatory experience representing clients in contact with the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority. He has over the years participated in a number of long-term projects implementing new legislation, such as MiFID, PSD and AIFMD.
Björn’s client portfolio includes banks, securities institutions, payment institutions and asset management companies. During his career, Björn has held a number of senior legal positions in, among others, the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority, Skandinaviska Enskilda Banken AB (publ) and ABG Sundal Collier AB.
Björn is ranked by Chambers Europe 2017 for Banking and Finance in Sweden. Furthermore, the 2019 edition of The Legal 500 EMEA has recommended Björn as one of the leading lawyers in Sweden for Banking and Finance
Ian is a partner in the Maples Group's Funds & Investment Management team in Dublin. He has extensive experience in the establishment, operation and regulation of both UCITS and AIFMD funds, with particular focus on alternatives, including hedge funds, private equity, managed account platforms, fund of funds and real asset structures. Ian has significant expertise in the ICAV space, having advised on the first ICAV authorised by the Central Bank of Ireland and numerous innovative ICAV structures, redomiciliations and conversions to date.
Ian regularly advises asset managers looking to establish Irish authorised AIFMs, UCITS and MiFID management companies. He also has significant expertise advising in the areas of derivatives, prime brokerage and securities law.

Sverker Akerblom, Director, is a Portfolio Manager with BlackRock's Global Renewable Power platform which currently manages close to $5bn across more than 150 wind and solar projects across 4 continents. Sverker is responsible for originating, executing and managing renewable power investment opportunities in Europe with a particular focus on Northern Europe.
Sverker joined BlackRock in 2011 and is a founding member of the BlackRock Renewable Power and BlackRock Infrastructure platforms. Sverker also established the Renewable Income platform together with other leading members of the team. The platform today manages over $2bn of capital and has invested in over 60 wind and solar assets in the UK and other European markets.
Prior to joining BlackRock in 2011, Sverker was a finance and development manager at Tessera Solar, a subsidiary of NTR plc. Previously, Sverker was an analyst in the Energy and Financial Institutions Group at Lazard & Co. in London.
Sverker earned an MSc degree in accounting and financial management from Stockholm School of Economics in 2007.
Claire is responsible for leading and directing all activities related to the retention and growth of RBC’s strategic clients and driving cross border sales for the bank in the Nordic region.
Claire has 19 years financial services experience and previously held a number of senior roles with Citi and Citco before moving to RBC in 2013 to join the Global Client Coverage team.
A graduate of University College Cork, Claire holds an BA Economics degree and H Dip in Marketing.
Claire is a member of the Irish Funds Nordic Distribution working group.
Sascha Calisan is Senior Vice President and Head, Distribution Support.
Northern Trust’s Fund Distribution Support service supports asset manager clients globally with their cross-border decision-making.
Sascha brings over 20 years’ experience working in a number of global organisations in a variety of product management, strategy and client facing roles.
Sascha joined Northern Trust in 2008 as Product Manager, Fund Administration, EMEA. Prior to joining Northern Trust, Sascha served in various Product and client facing roles at RBC and Morgan Stanley

Stuart Alexander is Co-Founder and Chief Executive of Gemini Investment Management Ltd, authorised and regulated by the FCA, which commenced business in 2009. He is also a Director of Gemini Capital Management (Ireland) Ltd (GemCap) which in 2016 was incorporated in Ireland and approved as a UCITS Management Company (ManCo) by the CBI. He has over 30 years’ experience in the fund management industry and previously was Managing Director, Close Investments (2005-2007), HBOS’s Asset Management, Director (2001–2005), Invesco Fund Managers Ltd, Sales Director (1996–2001), Singer & Friedlander Investment Management Ltd, Director (1992-1996), Morgan Grenfell (1988–1992) and Gartmore (1986–1988). During his career Stuart has successfully launched a number of businesses in the asset management industry and has overseen the growth of many of these businesses in the UK and Globally.
