Industry Response to the European Commission's Initial Consultation on possible adjustments to the UCITS Directive

In March 2007 the European Commission launched a number of discussion documents on the UCITS framework, " Initial orientations for discussion on possible adjustments to the UCITS Directive". Following consideration by the IFIA Council and committees, the funds industry in Ireland has responded to this consultation. A link to the industry response is provided below. The Commission has indicated that they hope to finalise their proposals for amending the UCITS framework by the end of 2007/early 2008.
