DFIA becomes IFIA

		Following on from discussions earlier in the year and to reflect industry developments; the expansion of the industry beyond Dublin etc as of Monday, 2nd October 2006, the Dublin Funds Industry Association (DFIA) will become the Irish Funds Industry Association (IFIA), the name chosen by the members of the Association.

As the Dublin Funds Industry Association we have been proud to be involved in an industry that has enjoyed enormous growth and success, where the level of assets being serviced by the industry has exceeded €1 trillion and industry employment has reached almost 9,000 people. Now, as the Irish Funds Industry Association we look forward to being part of an industry that builds upon this very solid foundation to achieve even further success.
