The IFIA is hosting an industry seminar/update on Tuesday, December 13 at the Institute of Bankers, Auditorium from 9am to 11am.
The seminar will be structured in three parts covering Accounting, Regulatory and Operational issues. The morning will start with a presentation on current accounting/financial reporting developments, including IFRS, Irish GAAP, US GAAP and current exposure drafts. This be followed by a panel discussion on regulatory developments, including UCITS IV, AIFMD and corporate governance. The morning will conclude with a panel discussion on operational issues, including FATCA, FIN 48, Equalisation options in UK reporting, EU Savings Directive, Eurozone instability and pricing challenges.
