Kieran Fox joined the Association in August 2007 and is the Director - Business Development for Irish Funds. As well as being responsible for working with investment managers and developing our membership offering, Kieran participates in a number of our steering groups including Distribution, Marketing & Promotion and Front Office and has led engagement on specific regulatory matters. Kieran has a BSc Finance and holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Information Systems. Prior to joining us he gained significant experience both in industry and within the regulator. He was a senior regulator and risk specialist with the Central Bank of Ireland for almost two years and prior to this spent seven years in a variety of roles across the front office within the hedge fund industry in London. Kieran represents the Association on the Summit Finuas Network Steering Committee.
Stephen Carson is a Partner in the Asset Management & Investment Funds Group at A&L Goodbody. Stephen advises international asset management firms and investment banks in relation to the establishment and authorisation of all types of investment funds including UCITS, AIFs, hedge funds, property funds and exchange traded funds (ETFs) as well as authorisation of UCITS and alternative investment fund managers (AIFMs). Stephen also acts for the promoters of, and service providers to, Irish domiciled investment funds including investment managers, fund administrators and custodians in relation to custody, administration, prime brokerage and other service agreements. Stephen is currently advising clients on the opportunities presented by the new ICAV vehicle.
Ben is the General Manager of the Dublin office of Lemanik, a leading independent and third party Management Company and AIFM in Europe. He works with traditional and alternative asset managers, advising on the set-up of their Irish funds and coordinating their regulatory compliance and reporting. He also acts as Director for UCITS and AIF investment funds. Prior to relocating to Ireland, Ben began his career as an external auditor in Luxembourg and joined Lemanik Asset Management S.A. in 2011 as the Internal Auditor. He has then leaded the operations and the supervision of the delegated functions departments. Ben is a graduate of the EDHEC Business School in France.
Mr Lechartier is director of Carne Global Financial Services, UK Limited . His specialist areas are Corporate Governance and product structuring. He has assisted a number of managers launching various types of funds including UCITS traditional funds, Alternative UCITS, Hedge funds and private equity funds as European AIF or offshore funds. These covered multiple jurisdictions including the Cayman Islands, Ireland and Luxembourg. He has assisted with various investment management companies establishment, service provider selection and fee negotiations. He has also worked for Merrill Lynch for 10 years and has held senior position in Merrill Lynch private wealth offices of Zurich and Monaco. Aymeric holds a Business Degree from European Business School London and has also taken the Financial industry exam Series 7, Series 3, Series 8 and SFA
Joanne Kelly is a partner in the PwC Investment Management Group in Dublin and has almost 20 years’ experience in both the Dublin and Luxembourg offices providing assurance and advisory services to a range of onshore and offshore funds and fund management companies who utilise International Financial Reporting Standards, Irish GAAP and US GAAP. She has extensive knowledge and experience in advising investment management clients including UCITS funds, Alternative Investments funds and Asset Managers in Ireland. Joanne leads PwC Ireland’s Real Estate Practice which focuses on providing Real Estate services to our clients as well as promoting Ireland as a domicile for RE funds. Joanne was involved with the Irish Funds for a number of years and was a member of the committee which organised the IFIA's annual flagship conference. In addition, Joanne is the partner responsible for training for the asset management group within PwC Dublin and has lectured on a wide range of auditing and accounting issues to the group. Joanne is a fellow of Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Hugh B. Bolton is the Managing Director of Brown Brothers Harriman Services AG and is based in Zurich. Hugh is responsible for the firm’s strategic alignment with institutional asset manager and private bank clients and has responsibility for BBH’s European Relationship Management discipline. Hugh joined BBH’s Investor Services business in 1997. Most recently, Hugh served as Managing Director of Brown Brothers Harriman Trustee Services (Ireland) Limited and Head of the BBH Dublin office. Hugh has also co-managed the Boston Relationship Management team, with responsibility for the execution of global retention and growth strategies for some of BBH’s largest relationships. Hugh has a BA degree in European studies and French from Vanderbilt University, and an MBA from Boston University.
H.E Breifne O'Reilly was born in Dublin, Ireland. H.E Mr O'Reilly has a M.A in Modern Languages and Literature (German and French) from Trinity College Dublin. In 1998 he was Head of Private Office Private Secretary to Ministers David Andrews TD and Brian Cowen TD. H.E Mr O' Reilly was also a Director from 2005- 2008 in the following areas HQ (Russia, OSCE and Western Balkans), Director HQ (Head of Human Resources) Director HQ (EU Division, Institutions and Coordination). In August 2009-2013 he was Ambassador of Ireland to Israel. H.E Breifne O'Reilly is now the Ambassador of Ireland to Switzerland, Algeria and Liechtenstein.
Roy Kirby is the Head of Product Propositions at SIX Financial Information and has been with the company since 2015. In this role, he is responsible for identifying and responding to market trends and customer requirements across all financial markets globally. The product team for which Roy is responsible is currently focused around the areas of regulation, asset servicing and corporate actions. A core responsibility of his team is to provide thought leadership and expertise to define solutions that mitigate clients’ risks, improve profitability and improve efficiency. Some notable topics include MiFID2, FATCA871m, Solvency2, cross border taxation, security master files and corporate action workflow. Prior to joining SIX Financial Information, Roy spent 18 years in various roles within the financial markets.
