We are pleased to advise that preparations for the annual Irish Fund Industry US March Briefing Seminars are far advanced with seminars being scheduled for Boston, 15 March and New York, 16 March. Following a networking breakfast the seminars will run from 9 am till 11 am in both locations. Given Ireland now is home to over 80 US fund promoters with Irish domiciled funds, representing nearly $800bn in assets, the relationship between the US and Ireland continues to flourish.
In recognizing this, the seminars will primarily focus on a how promoters are increasingly "reaching a global investor base" from Ireland and the main trends in this growth. Also, given the number of regulatory initiatives that are underway which will have a profound impact on how products are developed and sold in and globally from the EU, we ask what is the "future of the fund industry in Europe". We would also like to hear from you and given the range of subject matter experts speaking we would be pleased to include any additional topics that may be of interest. If there are any topics that you would like to see included please let me know and we will address them in advance or during the session.
